DIY Cam clamps

To celebrate that I got my new bandsaw, i decieded to build some cam clamps... you can never have to many clamps! I thought that this would be a good exercise in using the saw. They´re build out off Oak leftovers from our kitchen table top, steel nails and paint stir sticks that i got for free from my local paint store. The sticks were laminated to make them more sturdy. The cork for the padding i already had, so I ended up with 6 x free and new cam clamps! I love free stuff.

Im thinking about building 6 more in the future with a deeper throat. These will sure come in handy for closing the box, glueing braces ect. Plus they are fun to make. And free, if you have the materials laying around.

You can find lots of info on how to build these on the net. Just google DIY cam clamps.
